Understanding the principles of electrical circuits is an essential part of being a designer or installer of technology systems. 

If you are about to begin your career in the fields of communications, security, automation and A/V systems this course will provide you with the background you need.

This course assumes no electrical knowledge and takes you through the building blocks of electricity, it's fundamentals and how to recognise and use electrical components and test voltage current and resistance. The course contains theory and practical exercises led by your instructor who is a licensed professional in the electronics, electrical and communications industries.

This course is also a mandatory part of the ACMA CPR (Cabling Provider Rules) Open Registration.
On successful completion participants will obtain a statement of attainment for the module Electrical Principles 1.
