CPR100 OPEN REGISTERED INSTALLER
Do you want to get into communications, data, security, automation or audio/visual?
Are you a licensed electrician or electronics technician? Have you been working on communications or low voltage cabling systems for more than 6 months? If the answer to these questions is “yes”, this program was developed for you.
This course provides cablers with relevant experience and/or training, an opportunity to legally work in the Australian communications and low voltage cabling industry by gaining the CPR (Cabling Provider Rules) Open Registration.
The ACMA are currently carrying out audits and giving out on the spot fines of up to $13,200 to anyone doing communications and low voltage work without a Registration. Would you be fined if they audited you? Is it worth the risk?
On successful completion of the CPR100 Open Registered Installer program, along with the required prerequisites, participants can obtain an ACMA Open Registration from an ACMA Registrar.
